Steve came to New Hope Madera with nothing left. He said, “I was at the end of my rope. I had no money, no job, and I was evicted from my apartment.”. That was 6 months ago.

After meeting Steve, we knew we had to help. We contacted one of our employment partners and got Steve a job. He started that position two days later and has been there ever since!

Steve has since been promoted, has his own apartment and has been paying off his financial debts, finishing his community service and is active in his church.

Steve now says, “I don’t know where I would be without New Hope Madera. I would probably be back in jail, or worse. Brent and New Hope have not only saved my life, but made it worth living.”
